For ISV and Merchants
API v2: New version of core payment endpoints for Payments, Refunds, Voids, Customers, POS, and Terminals
Delivers modernized v2 API endpoints covering the full core payment lifecycle — transactions, reversals, credits, tip adjustments, ACH operations, customer management, POS transactions, terminal management, settlements, API key management, and payment settings. Enables ISVs to build complete payment integrations against a clean, consistent v2 API surface.
Developer Sandbox: Isolated test environment with self-service onboarding
Launches a fully isolated sandbox environment where ISV developers can sign up on developer.flute.com, get auto-provisioned credentials, and test card and ACH payment flows end-to-end using realistic simulators — no sales call, no manual provisioning, no real transactions.
Merchant Application: Digital application UI replacing Jaris FastTrack
Replaces the third-party Jaris FastTrack application with a fully owned digital merchant application, supporting identity verification (KYB/KYC), processing details, bank account collection, and dynamic field rendering — with data submitted directly to RISE/Jaris.
Merchant Application Tracking: Activation checklist and status tracker ("Pizza Tracker")
Gives merchants a real-time view of their application status and activation steps in the merchant portal after submitting their application, reducing inbound support inquiries and improving transparency throughout the onboarding journey.
Document Center: Centralized document storage and access for merchants and partners
Provides merchants and their assigned partners with a self-service Documents Center to search, preview, and download account-related documents (starting with the completed MPA), eliminating the need to contact support for document retrieval.
Embedded Finance: Capital loans and instant payout offers in the Merchant Dashboard
Surfaces Jaris-powered capital loan and instant payout offers directly inside the Merchant Portal, enabling merchants to apply, track approval status, and accept financing — without leaving the dashboard.
For Partners
Pricing Templates: Configurable pricing templates for Partner-initiated merchant invites
Allows partners to create, manage, and assign reusable pricing templates (Flat Rate, Interchange Plus, Tiered) when inviting merchants, ensuring each application receives accurate, pre-configured pricing without manual re-entry. Four default templates are provided out of the box.
Partner Invite: Partner-initiated merchant application with pre-fill and pricing selection
Enables partners to initiate a merchant application directly from the Partner Portal, pre-filling known merchant details and attaching a pricing template before sending the invite — reducing friction for both the partner and the prospective merchant during onboarding.
Partner Activation Tracking: Real-time merchant application status visibility for partners
Enables partners to track the onboarding status of all their invited merchants directly from the Partner Portal, including pre-active statuses and a homepage summary card — reducing back-and-forth with operations and improving partner self-service.
For Portal Users
Flute Account Login & Signup: Rebranded authentication surfaces and self-service account creation
Relaunches all login, registration, and password reset screens under the Flute brand at id.flute.com. Adds a new self-service signup flow for Merchants and Partners, enabling developers and businesses to create their own Flute account without a sales call.
Emails & SMS: All platform emails and SMS notifications migrated to Flute brand
Updates all transactional emails and SMS notifications sent by the platform (password reset, verification, invitations, payment receipts) to use the Flute visual identity and sending domain, ensuring a consistent brand experience across all user communications.
Tempo Redesign: New Flute design system implemented across the Dashboard
Establishes and applies a unified Flute design system (tokens, components, typography, color) across the entire Dashboard, ensuring visual consistency, faster feature development, and a modern brand-aligned experience for all portal users.
For Administrators
Dual Flat Rate (CP/CNP): New pricing program with separate Card Present and Card Not Present rates
Introduces a new Dual Flat Rate pricing program across Dashboard, RISE, and the MPA, enabling Flute to charge different rates for in-person and online transactions. Improves margin accuracy as CNP volume grows and ensures compliant, correctly labeled pricing disclosures on merchant agreements.
